Home fragrance products now plays a very large part of most peoples daily routine. You return home from work after a long and busy day, troubled by traffic, errands and everything else the modern world has to throw at you. You fancy a way to relax. Many individuals have a drink and light a scented candle or incense to chill. There are more products out there that could be cheaper and in some instances more effective to give your home that calming atmosphere.
This piece of writing delves into the mysteries of the common-or-garden wax tart. Many folks do not know what a wax tart is so let’s start there shall we.
A wax tart is a highly scented piece of wax that’s meant for use in an oil burner. The wax tart actually seems like an edible tart (often) but is certainly not meant to be eaten. It is placed in the higher part of an oil burner (the reservoir) and a tea light is lit underneath the reservoir in the burner body. No water is added as with perfume oils. The wax tart then liquifies and produces its glorious aroma. No need to continually check the burner or top up with water as with oils. It is however important that all candles are burned within sight and never left untended.
A word of warning here. Not all wax tarts are the same. Paraffin wax tarts are frequently found. Such brands as Yankee Candle supply paraffin wax tarts and these are just not good quality. Sure they do smell but only for a little time. I like soy wax tarts. These are made with natural plant waxes and just appear to last so much longer than the other brands.
My fave brand is Busy Bee Candles. This company makes only soy wax scented candles, wax tarts and tea lights and I have to be truthful, their wax tarts are just superb. They last hours. My personal record is 6 tea lights from only 1 wax tart. At 4-5 hours a tea light, that’s around 20 hours of fragrance for something that cost just over a pound! Busy Bee’s range of scents is also fantastic. They have tons of fragrances. They even do premium wax tarts now that combine extraordinary fragrances in one tart. Absolutely amazing.
So if you want cheap home perfume, head on over to the Busy Bee’s web site, pick up a burner and some wax tarts and I assure you, you’ll be in scented heaven in virtually no time!
